Well, it has finally happened, not a surprising move either. According to reports, the Philadelphia Eagles are releasing defensive end Vinny Curry.
Vinny Curry has been a long-term Eagles fan. More like an Eagles fan his whole life. Curry grew up just East of Philadelphia, New Jersey, prior to being selected in the in the 2nd round of the 2012 NFL Draft by his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Seems pretty cool being drafted out of college by your favorite team.
Anyways, Vinny Curry and the Eagles were unable to come to agreements on a contract, forcing him to be eliminated from the team’s roster. Obviously, newly added defensive end Michael Bennett is supposed to replace him.
Eagles are releasing DL Vinny Curry, source says. Unable to find an agreement on a pay cut.
