The Philadelphia Eagles, in addition to what appears to be 14 other NFL teams, were hacked on Twitter and other social networking devices Monday afternoon.
The hack was an unpermitted stunt performed by OurMine. OurMine is a Saudi Arabia-based hacker group who is notorious for hacking into celebrities accounts to promote their anti-hacking services, aptly reminding followers that “everything is hackable.”

Not only did the hacks occur via Twitter, but they also extended to Instagram and Facebook. The hackers additionally inexplicably removed the victimized teams’ Twitter profile pictures.
15 NFL team twitter accounts appear to have been hacked (all are missing profile pictures): @DallasCowboys, @Broncos, @Colts, @HoustonTexans, @Packers, @BuffaloBills, @Giants, @Eagles, @Buccaneers, @Chargers, @ChicagoBears, @Chiefs, @49ers, @Browns, @AZCardinals.
