According to Jeff McLane of philly.com, the Eagles are working on extending offensive lineman Halapoulivaati Vaitai’s contract.
Expectation is that the #Eagles will attempt to extend OL Halapoulivaati Vaitai this offseason, as well. https://t.co/9E2sZ9szSM

Vaitai, age 25, struggled during his first season with Philadelphia, but seemed to do an acceptable job when he replaced Jason Peters during the Super Bowl season in 2017. Vaitai could be a possible replacement for Peters, age 37, when he retires.
The Eagles extended contracts for Isaac Seumalo, Jason Kelce, and Brandon Graham the past few days, thus it looks like they will eventually release someone to save money.
