In somewhat of a surprising move, the Eagles have released veteran tight end Brent Celek. Drafted by the Eagles in 2007, Celek has been a member of the team for his entire career, amassing 4,998 yards and 31 touchdowns.
Celek’s release is expected to save the Eagles $5M in cap space.
