Just as expected, Eagles extend WR Alshon Jeffery’s contract. The 27-year-old reportedly signed a 4-year $52 million extension, with $27 million guranteed.
#Eagles have signed WR Alshon Jeffery to a four-year contract extension through the 2021 season.

Earlier this season Carson Wentz didn’t target Alshon Jeffery very much, but as of lately Wentz’s favorite target has been Jeffery. The past 3 games Jeffery has been targeted 27 times averaging about 14 yards per catch with 4 touchdowns. The talented WR will enter free-agency after 2021.
Philadelphia Eagles stated, “Alshon has been a tremendous addition to this organization on and off the field. We place a priority on making sure we are able to build the team around quality players like Alshon who embrace this team and this city the way he has. We are excited about his future here.”
Alshon Jeffery stated, “First of all I just want to thank Jeffrey Lurie and the entire Eagles organization. Like I said the other day, I love it here. I’m blessed to have the opportunity to play for this organization and for these fans. Everyone has welcomed me with open arms and now I’m looking forward to being here for a long time. We have a great group here and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
Since the Eagles schedule will most likely be more difficult next year than this year due to their talented roster, a wideout like Alshon Jeffery will be a big help.
