According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz suffered a fractured vertebrae sometime this season, revealed by a CT scan.
A recent CT scan on Carson Wentz’s back revealed a fractured vertebrae that, if allowed time to rest, would fully heal without further expected issues, sources tell ESPN. There will be a continued evaluation to determine if continuing to play this year will make injury worse.

It’s still unclear whether he’ll return this season, but unlikely considering the Eagles current playoff chances. Nick Foles will most likely start at quarterback against the Rams on Sunday.
