On Wednesday, the Jacksonville Jaguars hired former Eagles QB coach John DeFilippo as offensive coordinator. The hiring will increase the Jaguars odds to land Super Bowl MVP, Nick Foles, who was coached by DeFilippo in 2017.
There are several reports indicating that the Eagles will attempt to trade Foles instead of just letting him walk. Eagles would have to exercise his $20M option or franchise tag him to do so. Eagles could get a pretty good asset by trading him.
Jaguars have also reported that they will pay attention to trade offers for CB Jalen Ramsey and RB Leonard Fournette. A Fournette deal would be more likely considering the Jaguars probably won’t be strongly looking to trade arguably the best cornerback in the league.
What the deal could look like:
Jaguars receive: QB Nick Foles & a pick
Eagles receive: RB Leonard Fournette
Should the Eagles, who are currently in need of a franchise running back, pull the trigger for RB Leonard Fournette and risk giving up their Super Bowl MVP quarterback?Follow @EaglesFeast
