Nate Sudfeld surgery successful, expected to return in six weeks

According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, Philadelphia Eagles’ backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld underwent successful surgery for a broken wrist on Friday morning and is expected to return in six weeks.

“Best-case scenario for Philly,” stated Schefter.

For those that don’t already know, Sudfeld broke his left wrist after falling on it awkwardly in the first week of NFL Preseason against the Tennessee Titans. He required an air cast and needed to be wheeled to the locker room via a cart.
