Which Eagles players you should start and sit | Fantasy Playoffs | Week 16

Which Eagles players should I start and sit on Week 16? First off, this list only applies if the 11-3 Vikings defeat the 7-7 Packers because if the Vikings lose to the Packers, we’ll clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs and Eagles will probably sit most of their starters to prevent injuries. But Packers without Franchise QB Aaron Rodgers will probably lose. Therefor we will have to win another game this regular season to clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Go Packers (they are virtually eliminated from the playoffs, so no need to worry about going against them in the playoffs if they win)!

START

Nick Foles – Oakland Raiders are currently ranked No. 21 in defense, which probably won’t go well against Eagles’ No. 3 in offensive yards per game. Foles threw 4 touchdown passes to 4 different receivers when going against the Giants last week who currently rank  No. 32 in defense. So maybe Foles could put up 3 touchdown passes this week. Prediction – 23.45 points (NFL Fantasy).

Nelson Agholor – Agholor was Nick Foles’ favorite target last week with 7 receptions and 1 touchdown. This should be a good game for Agholor considering Raiders are currently ranked No. 23 in passing defense and we’re at home this week. Prediction – 11.96 points (NFL Fantasy).

Zach Ertz – Every home game Ertz participated in this season, he had a touchdown, at least 34 yards, and a high of 103 yards. This is even better when going against Raiders’ shady No. 23 ranked passing defense. Ertz should start in every Eagles home game on Fantasy. Prediction – 14.32 points (NFL Fantasy).

Jay Ajayi – Ajayi is 1/2 for home games with at least a touchdown. But don’t forget that the speedy running back had 77 yards for 1 touchdown against Broncos who are ranked No. 4 in rushing defense. Maybe he can top that when going against a ranked No. 15 rushing defense. Prediction – 10.76 points (NFL Fantasy).

Eagles Defense – Despite the 500+ total yards they gave up against the 2-12 Giants, most fans think the Eagles will bounce back this week at home. Eagles have been fairly good at bouncing back this season. Eagles defense is also good when playing at home this season. Prediction – 7.74 points (NFL Fantasy).

SIT

LeGarrette Blount –  Blount isn’t having his best season this year. He will probably continue to average only 4.5 yards per carry this week. He only has 2 touchdowns this season going against the 2-12 Giants and 4-10 49ers. Prediction – 5.20 points (NFL Fantasy).

Torrey Smith – Smith only has 2 touchdowns this season so far, and none last week when going against the 2-12 Giants with Nick Foles. Won’t be any better when going against the 6-8 Raiders. Prediction – 4.90 points (NFL Fantasy).
But remember: If Vikings lose to the Packers on Saturday this week, Eagles will most likely sit some of their starters to prevent further injuries.
