Vinny Curry and Eagles agree to deal

Defensive end Vinny Curry is returning to Philadelphia with the Eagles, according to the team via Twitter.

Curry was with the Eagles from 2012 to 2017 before signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’s now back in Philly, agreed to a 1-year, $2.225 million contract.

Last season in Tampa Bay, Curry registered 21 combined tackles and 2.5 sacks to his stats, however, he claimed he was injured during the duration. Hopefully, he will resume productiveness with the Eagles this season.

“Hell yeah! Super excited,” Curry stated when asked whether he was excited to return. The 30-year-old veteran said he had other offers on the table, but “home is home.”

“This felt like the right situation. It’s time for me to be back in Philadelphia. When you go on a Super Bowl run like we did, you miss the morale”
