Sidney Jones to make Eagles debut Sunday against Cowboys

Finally, after being held ineligible while healing from a torn Achilles for eight months, Eagles will activate CB Sidney Jones who was selected in the 2nd round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Eagles placed LB Joe Walker on injured reserved yesterday after being a healthy scratch against the Raiders, which freed up a roster spot for Sidney Jones. Since the upcoming Cowboys game is meaningless, Eagles figured they’ll try out Sidney Jones in the game. Maybe he’ll replace Jalen Mills who’s battling an ankle injury. So there is a possibility we’ll see the Rasul Douglas and Sidney Jones duo late in the game. Rasul Douglas was also selected in the 2017 NFL Draft in the 3rd round.

Mind as well make the “nothing to play for game” more interesting. LOL.
