Malcolm Jenkins to attend Eagles mandatory minicamp

According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, Philadelphia Eagles’ free safety Malcolm Jenkins plans to attend the team’s mandatory minicamp which is scheduled to kickoff on Tuesday.

“Jenkins is said to be excited to be with his teammates and focused on the 2019 season as an Eagle,” stated Schefter.

Jenkins missed the Eagles’ OTAs as he seeks a “hefty” raise. It was the 31-year-old’s first time being absent for the offseason training program in his 11-year career. He is currently the seventh highest-paid free safety in the league at $8.75 million per season.

Despite his now-expected presence at minicamp, it’s assumed he is still seeking a new deal with Philly.
