“Jenkins is said to be excited to be with his teammates and focused on the 2019 season as an Eagle,” stated Schefter.
Jenkins missed the Eagles’ OTAs as he seeks a “hefty” raise. It was the 31-year-old’s first time being absent for the offseason training program in his 11-year career. He is currently the seventh highest-paid free safety in the league at $8.75 million per season.
Despite his now-expected presence at minicamp, it’s assumed he is still seeking a new deal with Philly.
