According to John Clark of NBC Sports, “most of the starters won’t play” for the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday’s night Week One of NFL Preseason showdown against the Tennessee Titans.
Specifically, Eagles will be with the absence of quarterback Carson Wentz, wide receiver DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery, tight end Zach Ertz, left tackle Jason Peters, and running back Darren Sproles. Thus, backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld will start the game.
Nonetheless, Eagles’ do have newly acquired running back Jordan Howard suiting up. It’s also expected that running back Miles Sanders, wide receiver JJ Arcega-White, offensive lineman Andre Dillard, defensive tackle Malik Jackson, defensive end Shareef Miller, linebacker Zach Brown and L.J. Fort, cornerback Orlando Scandrick, and safety Andrew Sendejo and Johnathan Cyprien suit up.
