Philly seen as a potential landing spot for Kareem Hunt, per Pro Football Talk

Following RB Kareem Hunt’s release from the Chiefs for lying about a domestic incident that happened in February, Pro Football Talk stated that many teams are possible landing spots for the 23-year-old.

During Eagles head coach Doug Pederson’s press conference on Saturday, he was asked about the team’s policy for signing players that violated the NFL’s policy like Hunt and LB Reuben Foster:

I’m not going to get into the policy stuff for protecting the Eagles. But, you know, obviously there’s not a place for this kind of behavior. It’s unfortunate because two good, great players for their respective teams so it’s just unfortunate. But, you know, it’s something you hope doesn’t happen and you just hate it for everybody involved because it’s not good. It’s not good at all.”

The writer of the Pro Football Talk article, Mike Florio, mentioned the Philadelphia Eagles as a potential landing spot for the franchise running back.

Barring the situation Hunt is in and his expected six-game suspension, it would still be consoling for Eagles fans to see GM Howie Roseman claim the star for a franchise running back.
