As many already know, Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Joe Ostman went down during open training camp practice on Sunday with a knee injury. Tuesday morning, the Eagles announced via Twitter that he has suffered a torn ACL. He was placed on Injured Reserve (IR), ending his season.
As a replacement, the Eagles also announced that they’ve signed Kasim Edebali. The former Saints, Broncos, and Bengals defensive end also played linebacker. In 2015, Edebali, age 29, registered five sacks, a fumble recovery, and 18 combined tackles.
