Anything involving an ACL is probably not likable news to most Eagles fans, especially after their MVP-candidate quarterback Carson Wentz tore his in December. Eagles fans won’t like to hear this either – Philadelphia Eagles veteran linebacker goes down with torn ACL at OTAs on Tuesday.
Most likely, the 28-year-old linebacker’s 2018 season is compromised, unfortunately. Worrilow was a great depth-addition to the roster.
Shortly after that, Eagles’ linebacker Mychal Kendricks was released – which wasn’t much of a surprise. If Eagles don’t ride with Corey Nelson for the 2018 season, which is unlikely, they will have to sign or trade for another starting linebacker.
Eagles now remain with notable linebackers including Nigel Bradham, Jordan Hicks, Corey Nelson, and Kamu-Grugier-Hill.
Eagles’ LB Paul Worrilow was diagnosed with a torn ACL, per source.
