Eagles agree on deal with former AAF quarterback

According to Eagles reporter Adam Caplan, the Eagles are signing former AAF quarterback Luis Perez to a one-year deal.

Perez played for the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football league. Through eight games, the 24-year-old registered five passing touchdowns and six interceptions. He threw for 1,460 yards at a completion rate of 52.3%. The Iron finished with a 5-3 record prior to the AAF suspending their operations.

Perez played football for Texas A&M in his college years.
