The Philadelphia Eagles have started their season by beating the Washington Redskins at home, with the help of newly acquired wide receiver DeSean Jackson who looked like his old-self.

Jackson connected with quarterback Carson Wentz eight times for 154 yards and two touchdowns, including two 50+ yard bombs. Wentz registered three passing touchdowns for 313 yards, with an attractive 71.8% completing.
Although Eagles started slowly in the first half with a two-touchdown deficit, they were able to win by a somewhat-comforting five points. Alshon Jeffery also found the endzone twice, with a receiving touchdowns and rushing touchdown.
Eagles’ Defense was a bit of a concern in the first half as well, lacking adequate wideout coverage. The Eagles look to continue their momentum next week against the Atlantic Falcons; a tougher matchup.Follow @EaglesFeast
