Michael Vick’s Father Arrested For Involvement In Drug Ring

Michael Vick’s father was reportedly arrested on charges of being involved in a drug ring.

According to the Virginian-Pilot, authorities arrested 55-year-old Michael Dwayne Boddie on Thursday. According to Philly.com, a federal indictment unsealed Wednesday in Newport News alleges that he, as well as 11 others planned to sell heroin.

Boddie is being kept without bond until a Monday detention hearing. Directly below is Boddie’s mugshot.

Attorney, Lawrence Woodward who represented both men in the past years, did not respond to request for comment. Meaning Woodward has nothing to say.

Years ago, Vick was arrested for running a dogfighting operation on his property. He played for the Eagles, Jets and Steelers prior to his warned retirement in February.
