It’s been 83 days since the Philadelphia Eagles signed a wide receiver, and that streak came to an end today after they agreed to terms with former Ravens’ and Colts’ veteran Kamar Aiken, for a one-year deal.
The 29-year-old wideout battled with numerous injuries during 2016 and 2017 NFL Seasons, which could be a reason for his deficiency of touchdowns.
That aside, in 2014 Aiken received three touchdowns, only to register five more the following season. Last season with the Indianapolis Colts was his lowest peak, which he hauled in a very-unattractive 34.1% of his targets. But again, Jacoby Brissett was in control of the ball, who barely anyone has heard of before.
Although Aiken isn’t guaranteed to make the roster after training camp, with Nick Foles and Carson Wentz under center, Aiken could look pretty decent.
Contract details are yet to be released.
