THIS WEEK: Eagles sign Kenjon Barner, Fletcher Cox to not play against Cardinals, Wendell Smallwood questionable for Sunday

According to the Eagles latest injury report. It looks like Fletcher Cox will not be playing this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Instead Beau Allen will be taking his place.

Eagles cornerback situation is bad right now. Now without Fletcher Cox, Eagles defense will likely be struggling against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Last game Cardinals had 332 total yards against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cardinals yardage will likely be near the same or even more.

More about Cox, Doug Pederson stated “He’s good,” and “He’s right on track where he needs to be. It’s Week Five and we have a lot of football left. And he’s progressing nicely. We got to just be careful.”

Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood is questionable to play against Cardinals (knee). If he plays he will be sure to see the field due to Darren Sproles’s injury (torn ACL).

He if doesn’t see the field Sunday, the only one’s left are, LeGarrette Blount, Correy Clement, and newly-signed, Kenjon Barner.
