Report: Caleb Sturgis signs two-year deal with Los Angeles Chargers

Many Philadelphia Eagles fans certainly knew the Eagles would be very hesitant to retain kicker Caleb Sturgis, after their new kicker (who filled in for Sturgis during his injury) kicked a franchise record field-goal, 61-yards.

Though Eagles new kicker Jake Elliott isn’t as persistent when it comes to kicking close-range field goals as Caleb Sturgis is, the organization feels that a younger, more inexpensive guy like Jake Elliott is better to keep.

As of 5:43 EST on Friday, reports claim that Eagles’ former starting kicker Caleb Sturgis signed a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers.
