Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper isn’t even in Philadelphia yet, and he’s already recruiting people to the city.
Harper sent a text to former Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell, “Aye, come join! Lets take this city by storm. Bring as many titles as we can to the greatest city in the world. Brotherly Love,” via Instagram’s Direct Messaging system. Click on the image below to view the exchange.
Bryce Harper said he wanted the longest deal he could get so he could recruit other players to the Phillies to win championships

Before sitting out the duration of the 2018 season while protesting his contract, Bell registered 9 touchdowns and 1,291 yards in 321 attempts during the 2017 season.
Unfortunately, it will be hard general manager Howie Roseman and the Eagles to obtain the 3x Pro Bowler and 2x All-Pro, especially after extending Brandon Graham’s contract. They would have to outbid the Jets and Colts who currently sit at over $100 million in cap space.
