Prior to this week, Chase Daniel’s Philadelphia Eagles’ 2nd String Quarterback is showing interest on the trade market. According to Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports, the 24-year-old wide receiver, Jordan Matthews, is drawing interest by other teams as well.

If someone makes a solid offer to #Eagles for backup QB Chase Daniel, I believe they’re open to dealing him. Same for WR Jordan Matthews.

Originally the Eagles selected Matthews in the 2014 NFL draft, of the second round (No. 42 overall). Matthews was decent as a rookie, with 67 receptions for 872 yards and eight touchdowns. Sadly, over the past couple seasons, Matthews hasn’t been doing as well as his rookie year. In the NFL’s 2016 season, Matthews was out a number of games from an ankle injury.
If the Eagles trade wide receiver Jordan Matthews, that gives the Eagles a new receiver to try out.
