Philadelphia Eagles sign Alshon Jeffery

According to Ian Rapoport, Eagles agreed to a one-year contract for $14 million with Alshon Jeffery. This will give quarterback Carson Wentz another chance to try out his arm and passing game.

Jeffery was selected by the Chicago Bears in the 2nd round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Last year Jeffery had an impressive (given he started 12 games) 52 receptions for 821 yards, as well as 2 touchdowns.

This signing with the Eagles isn’t surprising, considering all the rumors floating around today.
