Nick Foles and Tom Brady to make preseason debut against each other on Thursday

I’ll be honest, preseason is pretty boring – despite being able to watch the rookies and some of the new guys for a quarter, it doesn’t get much worse than watching Joe Callahan throw in-completions, scrub receivers drop passes, etc, etc, etc…

But the preseason game on Thursday may be a bit more exiting than usual ;). Super Bowl 52 opponents, Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots, look to showdown this week on Thursday. I assume all of you know that the last time Eagles and Patriots faced off against one another, Eagles crowned the Patriots – NO, I don’t mean put a crown on them…I mean hit them on the head.

Everyone thought the Patriots were going to win, except most Eagles’ fans (obviously), but I mean everyone. But as the Eagles did the past two games, they proved everyone wrong. Eagles ended up coming out on top, 41 – 33. As of right now, Eagles are your reigning Super Bowl champions.

All that aside, on Tuesday, Eagles announced that backup quarterback Nick Foles will make his 2018 preseason debut on Thursday night, and Patriots starting quarterback Tom Brady will make his. The Eagles look to travel up to Massachusetts, and fight for a preseason win that night. The game will be available to watch on NBC 10 at 7:30 PM EST, and you can listen to it via WIP 94.
