LOOK: Le’Veon Bell hints that he’s considering signing with the Eagles

It happens to appear that Bryce Harper isn’t the only one messing around and getting the city of Philadelphia excited. On Saturday evening, Le’Veon Bell retweeted and captioned a tweet that seems like he’s considering signing with the Eagles this offseason:

The Philadelphia Eagles could be one of three teams to have interest in signing former Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell, according to Jason La Canfora.

Eagles are in need of a running back. Last season, their leading rusher was rookie Josh Adams. The Notre Dame graduate registered only 511 yards as the leading back for Philly. Nonetheless, he only had 120 rush attempts which calculated to be an impressive 4.3 yards/attempt.

Although Adams has been quite successful when he gets playing time, he still isn’t capable of putting the team on his back. Eagles thrive when they have a competent leader as their running back – for example, LeGarrette Blount.

Anyways, after the Steelers announced that they aren’t interested in franchise tagging Bell, the 27-year-old running back would be right up the Eagles alley.

Bell held out during the whole duration of the 2018 season in fear of getting injured without enough money guaranteed.

Canfora mentioned in his report that Bell is “seeking a deal worth $50 million in the first two years” of the contract. Obviously, that wouldn’t be a very friendly price for the Eagles, considering their cap space.

Personally, aside from the price, I would be all in on the Eagles signing Le’Veon Bell. He wouldn’t have to move very far, either.
