Former Eagles tight end Brent Celek announces retirement

At the 97.5 Fan Fest on Saturday, former Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek announced that he’s hanging up his cleats after eleven seasons of the NFL.

Celek, age 33, will end his NFL Career with 31 receiving touchdowns and 4998 yards. During his Super Bowl run, he only got 15 touches – which was one more than in 2016. In 2009, Celek had his best year with 76 touches, eight receiving touchdowns, and only 29 yards short of a thousand.

Hopefully someday, Celek will work for the Eagles front office (which would be cool)!
