Eagles’ newly acquired cornerback through the Torrey Smith trade from the Carolina Panthers, Daryl Worley, was reportedly tased and arrested at 6 am on Sunday morning, after he become combative with Philadelphia Police after they recovered a gun, per NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.
Looks like the Panthers got a steal from the Eagles just like the Seahawks did with the Michael Bennett trade, who ended up being arrested weeks after.
Details are yet to be released pertaining Worley’s jail time. At this time there are no reports as to why he was combative with police. This really sucks for Howie Roseman – making such good trades, then it getting ruined.
