According to multiple sources, there are at least four fatalities and ten injured at a Madden 19 Tournament Event in Jacksonville FL, on Sunday afternoon.
Shortly after the incident, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office issued a statement (via Twitter):
Mass shooting at the Jacksonville Landing. Stay far away from the area. The area is not safe at this time. STAY AWAY #TheLandingMassShooting

According to CNN, the shooting occurred during a “qualifying event” for the Madden 19 Tournament at the GLHF Game Bar. Madden participant, Young Drini, was reportedly shot in the hand, but is now safe and away from the scene.

We are aware of an incident at a sanctioned Madden Championship Series competition in Jacksonville. We are working with authorities to gather facts at this stage.
