I’ve said this for the past two weeks: it’s just the preseason. But I’ll be honest, Eagles offense on Thursday night against the Browns was not acceptable.
Eagles had tight end Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert in, Super Bowl MVP quarterback Nick Foles in, and wide receiver Mike Wallace in – yet they couldn’t even score a single point against a team that went 0-16 last season. Eagles head coach Doug Pederson was not thrilled at all with Nick Foles and the offense’s performance either:
Nonetheless, the Eagles defense was superb. They only allowed five points, between Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield and Tyrod Taylor, running back Carlos Hyde and Nick Chubb, wide receiver Jarvis Landry and Antonio Callaway, as well as tight end David Njoku.
I wouldn’t get too bent out of shape over a preseason game despite the offense’s piss-poor performance – remember…:
Follow @EaglesFeastPut another way, the Eagles’ offense might look better when it’s not missing: their MVP caliber QB, their Hall of Fame LT, their top 3 RBs, and 3 of their top 4 WRs.
Oh and Doug Pederson doing real game-planning since he’ll actually be trying to win.
